Why should I use SiteGofer?
We’ve all heard the old adage, “Time is money.” Being able to delegate tasks to someone we trust saves us time and frees us to focus on the mission-critical work we want to prioritize the most.
The problem is that smaller organizations like small churches, ministries, non-profits, and businesses have limited resources; you have a narrow array of people you can delegate to (if you have a staff), and a finite pool of resources to delegate with. You’re pressed for time and sensitive to cost.
I understand. I’ve worked in the non-profit sector for a total of 10 years, owned a small business since 2009, and been involved in church leadership for 20 years. I want to help your organization, which is why I created SiteGofer.
SiteGofer allows you to inexpensively delegate tasks associated with your web site to a web professional at a fraction of the cost of hiring even a part-time staff member. And you get added benefits, like a digital watchdog for your site and an easy-to-use content management system (CMS). You can even get your site progressively redesigned over time without the large up-front costs typically associated with a web design project.
SiteGofer is here to serve you by maximizing your time and your web presence. I’d love to become your site’s very own Gofer!
How do I get set up with SiteGofer?
Once you’ve subscribed, SiteGofer will contact you to get some information:
- The FTP server address where your web site “lives”
- Your FTP user ID and password
- Either your WordPress administrator credentials or a new administrator user account and credentials for SiteGofer
SiteGofer needs this information to be able to configure your site with Sucuri, the back-up system, and to maintain your WordPress plug-ins. Your information will be kept secure and private. If you can’t find your FTP information, I’ll do my best to help you nail it down.
Then, SiteGofer will configure your site with Sucuri (the real-time hacker/malware watchdog and clean-up service) and and automated back-up.
